# How can I find out which version of my operating system (Windows, Mac) I am using?

Knowing your operating system version helps us understand the environment you are working in and investigate how to reproduce the bug you are experiencing.

Windows
To find out which version of Windows your device is running, press the Windows key + R, type winver in the Open box, and then select OK.
Another method is to go through the Start menu / System Information:
