By default, the MerciApp browser extension integrates with all fields of type textarea or div[contenteditable="true"] — other cases are also supported, such as specific editors like WordPress or CKEditor.

However, in certain situations, you may want to disable our extension on a site you edit (for example, if you offer spelling or grammar tests).

Adding a tag to the relevant field

To disable integration, you can add the following attribute to the relevant field:

data-merciapp-spellcheck="false".
