# MerciApp Windows does not launch automatically at startup

MerciApp is a writing correction and productivity solution. It's the ideal tool for saving time when writing and proofreading all your texts🚀.
If MerciApp Windows does not launch automatically when you start your computer and you have to open it manually each time, there are several possible reasons for this behavior. Here are the solutions to try:

## **Step 1: Check the automatic launch setting**

To resolve this issue, start by checking that the automatic launch option is enabled:

1. Open MerciApp Windows
2. Click on the **Settings** button at the bottom of the application window
3. In the **General** section, check that the **"Launch on startup"** option is **enabled** (the button should be green)
4. If the option was disabled, enable it, close and restart the application
5. Simulate a sleep mode or restart your computer to check that the problem is resolved
