How can I find out which browser version I am using?

The version of a browser (or more generally of a software program) is a number that identifies the software, its release date, and its various updates and developments over time. Knowing the version you are using allows us to identify your working environment and reproduce the bug you are encountering.


How can I find out which version of Google Chrome I am using?



Click on the icon representing three small vertical dots (located to the right of the address bar), then on Help, then on About Google Chrome.


How can I find out which version of Mozilla Firefox I am using?


Click on ? in the top menu of Mozilla Firefox, then on About Mozilla Firefox.


Some versions of Mozilla Firefox do not display this top menu by default. In this case, click on the icon representing three horizontal lines (located to the right of the address bar), then on the icon representing a question mark ( ? ) Help __and then on __About Mozilla Firefox.


How do I find out which version of Microsoft Edge, Windows 11, or Windows 10 I have?



Open the new version of Microsoft Edge, select Settings and More at the top of the window, then Settings.


Scroll down and select About Microsoft Edge.
