How does MerciApp's fair billing work?

How do we bill active and inactive members of your team?


At MerciApp, you only pay for what you use.


You will only be billed for members who are active.

A member is an active user if they have accepted the invitation to your workspace.

If you have a paid MerciApp subscription (Correct or Assist) and add new members in the middle of the billing cycle, billing will be adjusted automatically.

Put it into practice


Annual subscription


Let's say that three members of your workspace have MerciApp Correct and you purchased an annual subscription on January 10.

This costs €8 excl. tax per member per month, or €8 excl. tax x 3 users x 12 months. You therefore paid €288 excl. tax on January 10.


On Monday, March 15, you add 4 new members to this workspace by sending them an invitation.

Each member who accepts this invitation becomes an active member and is therefore added to the billing on a pro-rata basis for the month they joined the workspace.


Your contract anniversary date is January 10 each year. This date remains unchanged.

On the evening of March 15, an invoice will be automatically generated for the 4 new members for their use from March 15 to January 10, i.e., 10 months.


The new invoice will then be €8 excl. tax x 4 users x 10 months = €320 excl. tax.


On the following January 10, you will be renewed for 7 users.


Monthly subscription


If you pay monthly, it works the same way as for annual subscriptions, except that your anniversary date is monthly.


Fair billing


This way, we ensure that you only pay for members who have agreed to join your space.
