Why add or change my VAT number on my MerciApp account?

Depending on your location, you may be exempt from value added tax (VAT) on your monthly or annual MerciApp subscription.

If your company has an intra-community VAT number, you can add it to your MerciApp account at any time.

How do I add or change my VAT number?

If I have never set a billing address

This procedure applies to you if you have never subscribed before (either for free or during a trial period).

Once you have logged into your account, follow these steps:

1. Click on the menu at the top left, then on Space settings.
2. Next, click on the Subscription tab.
3. Click on Upgrade and choose a subscription plan.
4. Select "I am a business."
5. Enter your billing address.
6. If you are based in the EU outside of France, click on "Add an intra-community VAT number."

7. Enter your VAT number in the box provided, then click Update.

If I have already set a billing address

This procedure applies to you if you are already a subscriber or have taken out a subscription in the past.

1. Click on the menu at the top left, then on "Space settings."
2. Next, click on the "Subscription" tab.
3. In the "Billing Address" section, click on "Edit."

4. Click on "Add an intra-community VAT number."

5. Enter your VAT number in the box provided, then click on Update.
